As a mother whose highly intelligent young adult daughter sliced her finger open while cooking, called me rather than 911 to ask what to do, said, "There's a lot of blood Mom. Lots!" then fainted while FaceTiming me, this story had me howling. Turns calling 911 for a person in another state is completely un helpful. She's fine. Her finger is fine. But yikes.
