There are certain words you can put into your bio that guarantee a closer look from me. Expat is one of them. Does that mean I follow every expat I stumble across on this platform? Not at all. There are a surprising number of us here and once good ole Algy the algorythim figured out I had a soft spot for expat stories, it started shoveling them my way rapidly.

Expat in your bio earns you a look from me. Your body of work is what gains a follow. Brian Abbey is an expat with an excellent body of work. He writes fiction, humor, and helpful stories on work and entrepreneurship.
