How Can You Resist Reading a Publication Called Artisanal Article Machine?
I couldn’t and I’m glad.
I found Artisanal Article Machine the way I find most publications: someone I like published a story in it. The name immediately pulled me in. It rolls off your tongue with the initial alliteration. The juxtaposition of “artisanal” with its connotations of hand-crafted, painstaking, small-batch attention to detail and “machine” was intriguing.
A clever name was enough to hook me in for a look. Next, I checked out the Content Guidelines.
This publication’s goal is to serve as a repository for a wide range of articles. What makes us different from others? Nothing.
I love it! Keeping things honest is my jam. Editor B.G. Warren goes on to say:
But we want to present reasonably meaningful pieces with interesting perspectives, engaging humor, philosophical insights, entertaining information, and valuable lessons.
I like all of those things! But editors make or break a publication, especially one without a tight niche. Who are the editors here? Along with Warren, the about page lists Laquesha Bailey, Corrie Alexander, Lindsay Rae Brown, Melissa Balick, and Jessie Waddell.
