I agree that many people use their religious beliefs as cover and justification for hating women But some religions celebrate and honor woman and some religious people, including myself, find value and respect for my personhood as a woman within a careful consideration of theology. I totally agree the balance of power with most major religions is against women and other marginalized groups but I refuse to let the power hungry men and others of this world take away my joy and faith in my religion. That's my personal stance and I also respect other's right to a different choice and take on the matter. Thanks so much for reading and commenting.
