I can only imagine how destabilizing it is to find out your parents kept something this big from you. And then to insist you keep quiet about it too. That's an unreasonable ask.

I agree with LauraMaery Gold below that you can choose to embrace the positives of how much your parents loved and wanted you. But it is also okay to be angry at the secrets they kept from you and demand of you now.
