I currently live in a place where it's nearly impossible to buy or rent a house because so many people are trying to move here after experiencing Covid lockdowns.

The power of the ocean for restorative peace is amazing and it doesn't get old when you live nearby.

I moved a lot and I can pretty much guarantee that if you move you will love it and hate it. Having family be together and far away from you is harder than you might think. There's good and bad to this. Life goes on without you and visits are never the same as living nearby.

But, but, but, moving outside of your comfort zone does incredible things to stretch and grow you in all the best ways. Moving itself is incredibly stressful but also freeing. It's an emotional whirlwind.

My little family unit is much tighter because of our moving around. This has shielded us from some family influences on my kids in a good way.

I've never regretted a move but there are definitely days I feel the loss of having a grounding to a place.

I think it's great to think deeply about these options. You have choices.
