I find the ocean such a rich source of analogies for grief.

…ther cords connected to me are secure and strong. I keep my head above the water and swim to shore. With their help, we will all make it back to shore. However, we may wade in the surf for a while still.

I find the ocean such a rich source of analogies for grief. It comes in waves. Somedays are calm and some days we risk being swept out and lost forever. Thanks for sharing here.
