I love absolutely everything about this story. The ways our parents love us and hurt us, how we struggle to parent ourselves as a result. Sibling and cousin love. There is so much here that you expose, highlight, and leave for the reader to ponder.

Your prose is fantastic. This story is show don't tell at it's finest. If I was teaching a high school English class I would use this story to illustrate that concept.

This is the sort of story that I think should have gone viral. It doesn't look like that has happened, at least not yet. I want you to know that for me as a reader this was a hit it out of the park home run.
