I love that you point out the need to respect a baby's private space and personal choice whether to interact. I think we are so quick to blow past children's boundaries and then we wonder why abuse happens.

I wrote a story a month ago or so about missing making babies smile due to Covid so obviously I'm a fan of smiling at babies but I like to think I know the limits. It is always up to the baby and even if the baby is happy if the parent isn't you back off. Seriously people.
