I love the message of your story and think it is a really important one. I see at least two really good take aways: what works for other writers doesn't necessarily work for everyone and focussing on the negative holds you down from moving forward.
One common answer for any story for a writer under about 1K followers that doesn't get reads is title and self-publishing.
The nature of publications are changing here but the fact still remains that so much content is released daily when you are new you want the audience of a publication, even a small one.
Title is the next biggie. I had absolutely no idea what Morning Pages were and the title wasn't intriguing enough to make me care. Even just swapping your title and subtitle would have been an improvement.
Another trick would have been mentioning the big names in your title. I dislike the fact that this works to get clicks but it absolutely does. In your case it is very relevant to your story.
Something like, "Daily Journaling of Morning Pages worked for Tim Ferris so why did it fail for me?"
Or, "I followed Tim Ferris's morning method and it sucked joy out of my life."
Play around with your titles until they grab attention.
