I love this idea.

…is to keep the “Latest from Following” section of Medium’s homepage. However, the second would be to create a second tab for “Authors I follow”, which would populate with the latest for all authors I follow. This tab could be included both on the webpage and the app.

I love this idea. Being able to toggle between authors I follow and topics I follow would be brilliant. Add in a surprise me tab with whatever up and coming stuff Medium wants to highlight or simply random popular stuff .
