I loved the premise. Here are a few thoughts. I've seen your title and didn't click on it before because it's pretty hard to make sexual harassment funny and I didn't want to get annoyed. I do think you pulled it off but without you putting the story in SSC I never would have read it.

I wonder if you could change the title to take sexual harassment out while still getting the idea across. Something along the lines of HR Memo to Cicadas highlighting workplaces changes within the last 17 years. I don't know, maybe that isn't better either.

I also think some people may be tired of hearing about cicadas. If you don't experience it yourself, it is hard to appreciate how overwhelming it all is. I was living in the area 17 years ago and am sad to the missing it now but I'm not normal.

The other suggestion I would make it to tighten it up a bit. I think you are funniest when you are skewering HR culture. I found the mention of Simon and the kuerig jarring because no real HR memo would be written that way.

Five minutes is on the long side for a single premise humor piece. Trim anything unnecessary and remain totally but hilariously in character.
