I totally agree with the premise of your story and am completely with you on writing and earning strategy. Slow and steady wins the race, keep writing good content and don't worry about going viral. Yes to all that.

I'm curious though, if the bit I quoted above is your experience because it definitely isn't mine. My first month it was more like 50 cents per article at best with the occasional $2 one being my successful story.

Each month it gets better and I'm not worried about my path at all but I still find the that the earnings of my stories are very very uneven. I think for a lot of beginners, particularly ones without a lot of writing experience this could be discouraging. I think most of us have to write a lot of 25 cent stories to even get to the $5 stories and that's okay too.
