I wish this were true. Having taught high school English I can assure you that kids who come in racist are fully capable of reading him and remaining racist. Not only that but they are happy to use class discussion time to read bit out of context to gleefully get away with saying the n word to wound classmates. No matter who good and sensitive the teacher is this is hard to stop.
