I'm so sorry your mom went through this. These people are pure evil. My mom's has been scammed to and in her case it made clear her dementia. I've had to complete take over her finances and put her on a cash only status since she cannot tell the difference between a legit phone call and a scam. Also no matter what I say, she clicks on links.
