More parents, birth and adoptive, need to take this to heart. Thanks for sharing your story.

I wish I could explain this to her but I never will. I am her mommy and my duties to her are not a favor that she should be grateful for. Watching her grow and being her mommy is a privilege and I don’t take it for granted.
