one more tip, instead of creating links to the writers you want to mention you can use medium's built-in system. You've probably noticed writer's names in green. This has a few advantages overand underlined link. First, it lets the writer know that you've mentioned them in a story. Secon,d it allows the reader to hover the mouse over the name and see the bio before clicking and going directly to the writer's homepage.

To get the green name effect you simply type @ followed by the writers medium name. Often auto correct is gonna give you the correct writer, but if the person you want doesn't pop up go to their homepage and look at the URL and you'll see what their medium handle is.
