It hurts a trans kid to see their entire family upend their lives and suffer for them.

It isn’t simple for anyone. Yes the families of trans kids need to do whatever they can to keep them safe and yes these days that includes at least strongly considering moving to a state with supportive politics but we all need to work to make moving not necessary.
