Emily Rose is exactly the kind of writer I love to stumble across. Someone with a fresh interesting perspective whose work could not possibly be mistaken for someone else’s because it oozes her unique personality and perspective with every word she writes.

This is the woman named “West Ashley High’s Miss “Most Unique”” 2010, after all.

If you just read whatever the algorithm throws up in your face, reading online can feel like so much sameness. Emily Rose is a delightful antidote.

Paul’s epistles are fascinating. Scratch that — Paul was fascinating. From the moment he first appears in the book of Acts, you get to follow him on a crazy roller-coaster of a life in Christ. Tricky for him, as Jesus had only just died, and no one was really solid on how to actually do the whole living in Christ thing.

As someone with a master’s degree from a Baptist seminary, I have read a bazillion different takes on the Apostle…
