Please, people, I’m begging you. Send me links to your best stories that I can talk about at the dinner table with my family.

I’m in lockdown in England and it feels like we’ve been here forever. How are we are supposed to have something interesting to talk about at the dinner table when we never leave the bloody house?

Silent meals are the worst.

“So, anything interesting happen in your day?”

“No. You?”

“No, not really.”

Chewing sounds.

On a good night, one of us remembers something interesting we read (usually me) or heard on a podcast (my spouse) or watched on YouTube (my college student daughter). Conversation, debate and often laughter ensue and everyone feels better.

We need more good nights. Can you help?

Please comment with links to your stories that make interesting antidotes to discuss over dinner. Or other people’s stories. Who should I start following?

Quirky science and history facts are the biggest hit in our household.
