Thanks for the shout out. I think you are right about the difference between highlighting other writers for their good, knowing it won't hurt you either, and trying to use someone to boost yourself. Ultimately, those who come to this platform just trying to use any trick to get ahead without really caring about either writing or writers aren't likely to go far.
