This is well written and good advice. I think the biggest issue is that it is not in a publication. It is really hard to gain traction with self published work when you don't already have a decent following.

Given how short it is, 2 minute madness might have been a good fit.

I also think the shortness worked against you. Fleshing it out a bit more would probably help.
