Walk This Way

Habit #10 in my 30 day journey

I can open my front door and be at this beach in 40 minutes. It requires going up and down a few hills and through a field or two but there are usually sheep or cows to entertain me along the way.

These cows are from a little further from home. We drove 20 minutes before heading out on this cliff walk.

There is a canal path only 10 minutes walk down the hill from my house. Springtime brings lambs, duckings, and gooslings.

So why don’t I walk every single day? Sometimes the weather is poor but that isn’t my only excuse. I get caught up in what I am doing. I’ll just finish up this project and then I’ll head out for a walk I tell myself.

Enough excuses. I’m going to walk every day. I have a good jacket and rain trousers so I shouldn’t let anything but the worst weather stop me.

If haven’t made it out earlier in the day, there is always a 5 minute drive and a sunset walk on the beach.
