“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough”
Oprah Winfrey

Why do we find it much easier to focus on what goes wrong in a day than in the good things that happen?

As my good friend Elvis says,

“When things go wrong, don’t go with them.”
Elvis Presley

I’m at the halfway point now in my month of new habit acquisition. This feels like the perfect place to promote positivity.

Habit #15 is keeping a positivity journal.

Each night before bed I’m going to write down three things that went right today. I’ve tried but failed in the past to keep a gratitude journal so we will see how well I can keep this up. Having this as one of many new habits should help.

Like yesterday’s habit of progressive muscle relaxation, I hope ending the day on positive thoughts will help me sleep better. We shall see.
